Accessibility

Public service should work for everybody.

Accessibility is a product requirement, an engineering practice, and an ongoing responsibility.

Our approach

We aim for this marketing site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The Aedilio product is designed around the same standard, but accessibility also depends on each organization’s content, configuration, integrations, and ongoing operating practices.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML, clear landmarks, logical heading order, and descriptive link text.
  • Support keyboard navigation, visible focus, zoom, reflow, and reduced-motion preferences.
  • Test color contrast and avoid using color as the only way to communicate meaning.
  • Run automated accessibility checks and verify critical flows manually.
  • Design every product map with a complete list-based alternative containing the same essential records and actions.

Known boundaries

Automated tools cannot prove full conformance, and no software can guarantee an organization’s legal compliance on its own. Product launches should include content review, keyboard and assistive-technology testing, policy verification, and independent audit where appropriate.

Feedback

If you encounter a barrier on this site, use the launch request form and begin the message with “Accessibility feedback.” Please include the page, the task you were trying to complete, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it.

Title II resources

The U.S. Department of Justice publishes current information about the Title II web and mobile accessibility rule, including compliance dates and exceptions. For authoritative guidance, consult the DOJ fact sheet and qualified counsel.
